Holidays is the season of sharing love through gifts. And handmade crochet gifts make them extra special. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with the luxury of time to crochet gifts for our loved ones, let alone give them precisely on time. But I see you girl. Here are my tips and tricks for you on how to crochet gifts last minute for your loved ones for this holiday season.
How to crochet gifts last minute: Follow step by step
1. List them down
List the number of gifts you want to make along with the person you wish to give them to. Take some time to prepare this list as this helps reduce so much overwhelm.
Listing down the number of gifts helps you down further in following the rest of the steps and keeps your mind free of chaos.
2. Have a look at your stash
Look at your stash and take note of all the yarns you have on hand, especially those gift-worthy nicer yarns. You can even consider your nice yarns like Scheepjes whirl, to gift to your fellow crocheters.

Your half used skeins that has been balled up comes handy as well.
Ordering new yarn is not advisable as that takes up your time as well.
3. Keep it small yet thoughtful
When planning for crochet gifts last minute, keep your projects to a realistic size. Let’s say you have less than one month of time and 10 gifts to make. You can be making shawls and blankets for all 10. Even if you are super-fast crocheter, remember that your yarn order takes time as well
Go for small and thoughtful crochet patterns when crocheting gifts last minute.
4. Gauge your time
Look into your calendar and actually see how many days you have until the gifting day and how many hours you can crochet during those days.

I would highly suggest to put in deadlines for each and every gift item in your calendar so that you will not be spending more time on one gift ending up with no time for the rest.
5. Pinterest is your friend
Now that you know your yarn, time at hand and the number of gifts, sit down and search your Pinterest for crochet patterns and pin them (with some notes on what yarn in your stash you are using and for whom)
